Flying High: Still Soaring

Flying High: Still Soaring picks up where the first show, Flying High, left off. We’re back with the Big Band “canaries,” women who started out singing with the major bands of the day and then carved out their own paths as solo artists. This time, we’ve added even more voices to the flock, all who broke ground, pushed past the limits placed on them, and helped shape the sound of an era. Following their songs and stories past the Big Band days, it becomes clear these women didn’t just take flight. As their influence kept growing, they continued to soar.
